Do you have questions about the range, delivery times, complaints, or anything else? We have gathered some of the most common questions we receive from customers below. If you don't find the answer to the question you have, you are, of course, welcome to contact us via email or phone.
Shipping & Returns
How do I return a product?
If you want to make a complaint about a product or are not satisfied, you should, in the first instance, contact the retailer where you purchased the item. We commit to addressing faults that arise from deficiencies in construction, materials, or manufacturing through repair or replacement.
The consumer always lodges a complaint with the store where the item was purchased. The store inspects the item and makes an assessment. If the store cannot determine the matter, Englesson's representative is contacted. Englesson should, of course, provide support to the store regarding technical issues. Always attach photos for prompt handling. Return of delivered goods must not take place until a specific agreement has been reached.
A complaint must be made within a reasonable time after you have noticed or should have noticed the defect. For complaints, we follow guidelines from the General Complaints Board. We need the following information from the retailer to process the case: a clear description of the fault/problem, photos clearly showing the damage/defect, and the order number.
My furniture has a transport damage, what should I do?
In the case of transport damage, the buyer must report the damage to the transport company within 7 days from the date the buyer received the goods and before further transport to the end customer.
It is important to inspect the goods upon receipt, and if visible damages are detected, please note them on the shipping document. For hidden damages, pictures of the product and packaging should be attached when making the report.
Can I place my order directly to Englesson?
No, we only sell through our retailers.
What's the delivery time?
We have a delivery time of 6-8 weeks for our furniture. It may vary depending on the volume of orders. Wooden furniture, in general, can be delivered faster as it may be in stock. For the exact delivery time for a specific item, please contact your retailer.
What affects the delivery time?
We understand that you may be wondering why our delivery time can vary. The reason is that all our upholstered furniture and beds are made to order. This means that each order is handled individually and that our customers end up in a queue at the factory. This can lead to fluctuating delivery times.
Our wooden furniture is produced in large batches in the factory, which is then stored there. Many of our wooden furniture therefore have a shorter delivery time of only 2-3 weeks.
If you want to know the exact delivery time for a specific piece of furniture, we recommend that you contact your retailer to see if the item is in stock and the estimated delivery time. It is also important to note that we are only responsible for the transport to our customer, i.e. to one of our dealers.
General questions
What is the colour code for your furniture?
Englesson doesn't have colour codes, but you can request a small bottle of touch-up paint or a colour sample free of charge through our customer service.
Do you have enhancement paint available for your furniture?
Yes, we have enhancement colour available for our furniture. If you want enhancement colour, it is easiest to send us an e-mail with your address details. We will send the enhancement colour to you free of charge.
Is it possible to buy new down covers for a sofa?
Yes, it is possible to buy new pillows for your sofa!
However, it is important to note that the availability of new down covers may vary depending on how old your sofa is and whether it is still in production. It would be best if you could contact us with your order number so that we can explore the possibilities together with the factory. If you don't have your order number to hand, you can find it written in white chalk on the underside of the stop furniture.
Can you order furniture with special dimensions?
We appreciate your interest in our furniture and in customizing it to your specific needs. As a furniture manufacturer with an extensive production process, we are not able to offer special order furniture or furniture that is unpainted or painted in a different colour than those already included in our range.
Our manufacturing process is optimized to produce our standard furniture efficiently and qualitatively. This means that we cannot offer size customizations or special colours beyond what is already available.
Can you order your furniture unpainted?
We cannot offer furniture unpainted or painted in other colours than those already included in our range.
As a furniture manufacturer with an efficient production process, we focus on manufacturing and stocking our wooden furniture according to our established standards. Therefore, it is unfortunately not possible for us to provide furniture with custom colours or raw options.
How much do new covers for your furniture cost?
We thank you for your interest in our furniture and the opportunity to upgrade with new covers. The price for new covers is 50% of our recommended price for the respective piece of furniture.
If you wish to order new covers, please contact one of our authorized dealers. They will assist you with the order and provide all the necessary information to fulfill your needs.
Can you repair or restore furniture?
Unfortunately, we do not offer furniture restoration, repair or reupholstering of furniture.
We recommend that you instead contact a professional furniture repairer or search for local companies that offer such services.
Can I order furniture that has been discontinued from your range?
We apologize, but if a piece of furniture has been discontinued from our range, it is no longer available for sale. We update and provide our full range on our website and in our catalogue. Unfortunately, if you can't find the specific product there, it means it's no longer available for purchase.
We recommend that you explore our current range for alternative furniture that may suit your needs.
Is your furniture delivered assembled?
Our furniture is delivered assembled. However, some minor assembly, such as attaching sofa legs, may be required. Our modular furniture is partially assembled, but some minor assembly is necessary.
How do I best care for my furniture?
Painted Wooden Furniture
Wood is a natural material that may change its appearance over time. To avoid possible cracking in the material, it is recommended to keep the furniture at normal room temperature. Significant variations in temperature and humidity can affect the material. Do not place the furniture in direct sunlight or near a heater. You may also need to tighten screws and fittings. You can read more about how to best handle your furniture in our care instructions below, but there are some general recommendations that apply to all our furniture.
Upholstered Furniture
Cleaning Instructions:
If you spill on the sofa, avoid washing or rubbing the stain. Take out the cushion from the fabric cover and let it dry. Consult an authorized dry cleaner for advice afterward.
Note: We recommend dry cleaning for all our standard fabrics. Water washing can alter the colour and shape of the fabric. Removable covers have a precise fit.
Maintaining the Sofa's Shape:
This sofa has achieved its high comfort level thanks to a quality cushion with a long lifespan. With proper care, the sofa will remain in good condition for a long time. "Puff up" the cushion regularly. This helps it maintain its shape and volume, keeping it free from dust.
Natural Material - A Living Material:
As most of our fabrics contain natural materials, the colour may vary slightly. Request a sample for additional orders. Keep in mind that furniture exposed to a lot of light or direct sunlight may fade. Turn the sofa cushions regularly to ensure even fading of the fabric.
These guidelines are aimed at helping you care for your painted wooden and upholstered furniture, ensuring their longevity and maintaining their aesthetic appeal.
Where is your furniture manufactured?
All our furniture is handmade and produced in our own factory in Poland. The factory is one of the most modern in Europe and covers an area of 14,000 m2. We manufacture wooden furniture, sofas, armchairs, and beds there. All design and product development take place within the company.
What warranty applies to your furniture?
Beds:
We offer a 25-year warranty against frame and spring breakage. If any other defect occurs within 3 years of purchase that can be attributed to a production error, we adhere to the Consumer Sales Act.
Other Furniture:
For other furniture, we follow consumer protection laws.
My sofa would need to be washed, do you have any washing tips?
We understand that it can be important to know how to best care for your furniture. As we work with a wide range of fabric suppliers and materials, we unfortunately cannot give general washing advice for our products. Instead, we recommend that you contact a professional dry cleaner for advice tailored to your specific fabric and furniture material.
It is also important to note that even loose covers should be dry cleaned to avoid possible shrinkage or damage to the fabric. Washing loose covers in a regular washing machine can lead to risks of shrinkage and other unwanted effects.
What do I do if the lift function in my TV cabinet stops working?
The TV-Lift has a built-in safety function to prevent the motor from overheating. If you have driven the lift up and down several times, the lift beeps and stops, this is completely normal. This does not mean that the engine is overheated, but rather prevents it from becoming so. The lift then pauses for 20-25 minutes and beeps again when it is safe to drive it.
If your lift function in your TV cabinet stops working for other reasons, it may need a restart. The restart for the TV cabinet can be done in two ways, so if one does not work, both are recommended.

Can I order fabric from your collection by the metre?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer fabrics from our range by the metre.
We are a furniture manufacturer and focus on producing high quality finished furniture and unfortunately we are not able to sell fabrics separately. Instead, we recommend that you contact a store or similar that specializes in the sale of fabrics.
Is it possible to hang your upper cabinet/display cabinet on the wall?
Our upper cabinets/display cabinets are designed to be placed on a sideboard/lower cabinet and unfortunately cannot be hung on the wall.
Is it possible to order new Glasss tops for your coffee table?
Yes, it is possible to order new Glasss tops for all coffee tables in our range. Contact your dealer and they can help you order a new Glasss top for your coffee table.
